In preparation of our first guest speaker Thursday, we watched a video from Bob Schultz, of Schultz Investment Company, about "The Art of Conversation," which highlighted the value of a handshake and techniques to initiate a professional conversation. The presentation is based on networking advice from Dale Carnegie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People."

We then practiced handshakes and conversation techniques with each other. We're now ready to meet and hear from business leaders throughout the community.
