Thank you to Ashton and Katie at Vactor for giving us a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into organizing the Manufacturing Day event. Vactor partnered with Alloy Specialties, Stertil ALM, US Truck Body, Illinois Valley Machine, IVCC and the Midwest Technical Institute to provide tours and information for high school students interested in manufacturing careers. Ashton talked about coordinating the schedules, ordering lunches, and all the different aspects that have to come together to put on a successful event.
