Thank you to Alea at Blue Eyed Rascal Baking Co. for sharing her experience as a business owner with us. Alea opened her brick-and-mortar coffee shop/bakery at 121 E. Main St. as a teenager in 2019 and the business continues to succeed. Baking at an early age, Alea sold at farmers markets prior to opening her own shop. She talked about pricing, advertising, food licensing, hiring employees and about the items she bakes, among other topics. She also shared what it's been like to grow from working with family to having her own team of employees.
