Thank you to Bob, Tricia and Carri at Midland States Bank for sharing the nuts and bolts of business finance. We shared our class business plan with them and they gave us feedback, while providing us baked treats from Blue Eyed Rascal Baking Co.. Bob talked about what lenders look for in a business plan before loaning money. Tricia walked us line by line through a balance sheet, explaining what each item means. This was invaluable knowledge as we embark on the class business and eventually our individual businesses next semester. They also shared many nuggets of information from their experience dealing with several different businesses.
