Thank you to Lee at Stertil ALM for sharing the factory's history and giving us a tour. Lee talked about how ALM started in 1982 out of a garage and evolved into the 65,000 square foot facility it is today. Now a subsidiary of the Stertil group headquartered in the Netherlands, Stertil ALM makes heavy duty lifting products. Lee shared insights into all the different aspects that go into the operations, including the production, shipping and management. He also gave great anecdotes about business in general. It was exciting for us to see how a Streator factory plays its role on an international stage.
