Thank you to Aelsa Woods, general manager of the Illinois Valley Symphony Orchestra, for speaking to us via Zoom. Ahead of the orchestra's concert scheduled Sunday, Nov. 9, at Streator High School, she talked to us about how she took her passion for music and utilized it to fuel a career in the orchestra's administration. Speaking about that position, she gave us insight into advertising and promotional strategies, including how to best use social media and the value of communicating to loyal customers.
