Thank you to Eric, a Class of '91 Streator Township High School District 40 graduate, 24.5-year Navy veteran and a director of operations at CACI International Inc. (an IT company) for joining us in a teleconference last week. Eric talked about growing up in Streator and working his way through the Navy, taking on a number of missions overseas. He highlighted the opportunity the military can provide, noting cybersecurity is blooming with opportunities now. He spoke about mindset and approach, imparting several invaluable tips, such as the value of listening, hard work and communication, among others. "Prepared people win every day," he told us.
