Thank you to Pastor Paul Webster at Central Church of Christ for giving us some tips on public speaking ahead of our 3-minute pitch contest set for Friday. In his presentation, he spoke about focusing on what people need to know, why they should listen and what you are asking them to do, noting an effective speech should have a "bottom line." We were able to come up with some answers to those questions for our own presentations we'll give Friday. He also addressed how to approach anxiety during public speaking.
