Congratulations to Abigail (first place) and Andres (second) for winning our Local Pitch Competition at the Streator Incubator. All of our students did a great job of pitching their businesses in 3 minutes, then answering questions from a panel of judges. The students demonstrated their products and showed slides. The pitch competition helps them prepare for the trade show scheduled May 4 at The Eastwood by sharpening their pitch skills, practicing public speaking and helping them refine, understand and defend their business ventures.
