Thank you to Bob Dieken for sharing his many experiences with us today. In opening his presentation, he pointed out his shirt has the word "think" outside of a box, setting the tone for many different thoughtful lessons. He shared with us a video link to Warren Buffet's "7 items to stop buying" that we watched prior to his visit. Today, he said the worst mistake he made in his life is buying a $120,000 boat on April 1, 2000. If he had invested that money in Apple stock instead, he said he would have made more than $27 million. He gifted us two books: "The Millionaire Next Door" by Thomas J. Stanley and William D. Danko and "The Complete Life's Little Instruction Book" by H. Jackson Brown. We had fun looking through the "instruction book" and bantering back and forth about the quotes in there. We appreciate him for visiting with us this morning, imparting some wisdom and inspiration ahead of our May 4 Trade Show at The Eastwood.
