Thank you to Nathan for giving us a tour of Transco Products Inc. in Streator, talking about what they do and giving us a demonstration of their robotic dog. Transco makes insulation products for nuclear reactors, shipping their products all across the world, including new nuclear power plants in Georgia. Nathan explained the process from engineering to the factory floor, also walking us through how sheet metal becomes Transco's products - as it was all brought to life by his walk-through of the facility. And we received a very cool demonstration of Transco's robotic dog, which is used to go into locations with possible high levels of radiation. The visit is a reminder there are cool things made right here in Streator.
