Thank you Mark Blakemore for sharing motivational stories. A Class of 1980 Streator Township High School District 40 graduate, Mark spoke to us about "discipling our disappointments." Life is going to throw us challenges, but we can fight through them and use adversity as our ammunition. He talked about understanding our value and not shortchanging it. He also shared the concept of consistency - that if you work at the right things everyday, you may not see the growth right away, but over time, it will be massive. He used the idea of doubling a penny every day to hit that home. We also appreciate the Dunkin' Donuts treat.
