Today we visited Don’s Furniture in Ottawa and spent our time with Mr. Mark Burash, Store Manager. Mark shared Don’s history and discussed the operations of both their Streator and Ottawa stores. He had a lot of valuable advice on customer service, and stressed the importance of being honest with and listening to your customers. Mark also discussed the importance of knowing your products and finding answers to things you don’t know. We had a lot of good conversations on inventory, advertising, and on roles within this family run business. Thank you Mark and Don’s Furniture for having us in!
