Today we had in Mr. Doug Allen, Owner/Operator of Dig Doug’s BBQ & Catering. Doug came in to share his journey and he had a powerful message. He explained early job experiences, Mgt. roles, and many “high pressure sales techniques” that he developed in 16 years of sales. He had great advice on meeting/greeting people, overcoming fears, handling objections, and more. Doug’s real message though was to have goals, write them down, and to follow your dreams/passion. As he went from suit & tie to his Dig Doug’s attire; Doug discussed how in his last conversations with his father, he changed his career path, followed his passion, and created Dig Doug’s BBQ.
