We spent our time today at Blue Eyed Rascal Bakery with Owner, Ms. Alea Ogle. Alea has a unique story, as she started her bakery as a teenager in 2019. From learning how to bake at an early age, Alea gradually sold at farmers markets, and now has her own brick & mortar at 121 E. Main Street. She had a lot of great advice on the organization, mindset, and flexibility that is needed to run a successful business. Alea also shared challenging aspects of owning and operating her business, staffing employees, licensing, and more. Thank you Alea for having us in!
