Streator High School Principal, Mrs. Amy Jo Lotshaw came in and talked with us this morning. Amy Jo had a very nice message and valuable advice for our group. She shared how impactful memories growing up ultimately challenged her in becoming the leader she is today. She discussed how early goals that she set, along with challenging herself to become uncomfortable in situations, have both helped in steering her career path and in dealing with many of life’s struggles. Amy Jo also stressed the importance of learning from difficult situations, taking advantage of your resources, making the best decisions you can, and much more.
