Thank you to David from Streatorland Historical Society Museum for giving us a tour and sharing our community's history. With our sights set on the future, it's important to have an appreciation for the past. David shared stories of Streator's founders and most successful industries, including glass and coal. We learned about the resources that are available at the museum, like access to old obituaries and city directories.
